At MG Castings, every figurine begins not on a production line, but at a workbench. We are passionate craftspeople. Each figurine starts life sculpted by hand. From this master pattern moulds our moulds are made.  dedicated to honouring military history through hand-sculpted cold cast bronze figurines. Each piece is a labour of care, skill, and deep respect for the men and women who served. Veteran owned ,the accuracy of the figurines and busts is very important. 

Our Craft: Cold Cast Bronze Explained

Cold cast bronze is a specialist technique that combines real bronze powder with a high-quality resin binder. Unlike traditional hot-cast bronze foundry work, cold casting allows us to capture extraordinary surface detail — the texture of a uniform, the weight of the webbing,  — at a level that mass production simply cannot match.

The process involves hand-mixing bronze powder into the resin, carefully packing it into a hand-finished mould, and then curing, demoulding, and patinating each piece individually. The result is a figurine with the weight, warmth, and authentic appearance of solid bronze, built to last for generations.

Materials & Durability

We use only quality bronze powder and premium casting resin in every piece. Once cured, the material is extremely hard-wearing and resistant to fading. Each figurine is hand-finished with a patina to bring out the depth and character of the sculpt, then carefully inspected before despatch. These are pieces made to display with pride — on a mantelpiece, in a regimental mess, or as a lasting tribute.

Made to Order — What That Means for You

Because every figurine is made to order, we do not hold pre-made stock. Your piece is cast and finished specifically for you after your order is placed. This takes time — typically 14 working days — but it means you receive something genuinely crafted for your order, not pulled from a shelf. We can always keep you informed of your estimated despatch date. This can be considerably shorter or sometimes a bit longer depending on volume. We believe the wait is very much worth it.

Regiment & Battle Customisation

Many of our customers come to us wanting to honour a specific Regiment, campaign, or a period of service — whether their own, a family member's, or a historical unit they admire. We offer customisation options on all of our figurines, including cap badges, and Head dress. Including Helmets Berets, Tam O Shanters Glengarry and Caubeen.
